About Me
Or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love Being a Swiss Army Knife Storyteller.
I used to lament being thought of this way. After all, being a specialist usually comes with more respect, recognition, and riches. But in the current landscape of non-existent job security, economic instability, ever-evolving technology, and doing more with less, the truth is? I’m a smart investment.
I endured countless “pivots” in the large companies I worked for by being versatile and being game to try something new.
I’m not a dabbler or dilettante! I’m: A Renaissance woman. A polymath.
A Swiss Army knife.
In other words, I’m a person with some core competencies, a lot of personal interests, and a life-long love of learning.
I do have a few specialties. Writing, editing, and content marketing ideation are my blade, screwdriver, and scissors, if you will.
Basically, the media industry used to call someone like me a “content creator” and now likes to deem them a “storyteller.”
That label sounds a bit precious, but the desire to tell stories does neatly summarize both my past lives (Tisch theatre kid, journalism grad student) as well as my current skill set.
I’ve crafted compelling narratives across all different types of media — from print and TV to podcasts and digital — always blending creativity with strategy.*
When I’m not wordsmithing or brainstorming branded video concepts for a client, you can find me:
- cuddling with my long-haired mini dachshund, Buckley
- fiercely defending my “Living Room Scrabble Champion” title
- experimenting with my art or craft obsession du jour (most recently: linocut printmaking)
- unleashing my inner ’90s rock star at karaoke
- searching for the best bagel spot in Los Angeles**
- making my way through my Letterboxd Watchlist, which veers wildly from Criterion classics to How Did This Get Made? stinkers
- taking scent classes at The Institute for Art and Olfaction and sniffing around niche fragrance stores to add to my decant wishlist
I’m also an “award-wheat” winning screenwriter.

*NOTE: Due to their overuse in AI-generated text, I feel the need to point out that the em dashes in this sentence are in fact MY OWN, and you can pry them from my cold, dead hands. Did I not just mention I went to grad school for journalism? I earned those bad boys! I learned the keyboard shortcut for ‘em and everything.
**gatekeeping my current fave so the onion bagels don’t sell out by 8 a.m., but I’ll share if you ask nicely…
